Max Voichahoske Fullerton, NE Obituary Death: Northeast Community College Student Dies

Max Charles Voichahoske, 21, of Fullerton, entered his heavenly home on Sunday, April 26, 2026, leaving behind a heartbroken family, a close-knit community, and many friends who cherished his presence and spirit. Though his life was brief, it was filled with purpose, hard work, and a deep love for the land and the people around him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the church, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Max was born on July 30, 2004, in Albion to Charles “Chuck” and Heidi (Wagner) Voichahoske. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith, which remained an important foundation throughout his life. Growing up in Fullerton, Max attended Fullerton Public Schools, where he graduated in 2023. During his high school years, he was actively involved in track, FFA, and F Club, and was especially recognized for his achievements on the football field, where his determination and teamwork stood out.

Following graduation, Max continued his education at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, earning an associate degree in agriculture in May 2025. His passion for farming and agriculture was evident early on, and after completing his studies, he returned home to work alongside his family. Farming was more than a profession for Max—it was a way of life he embraced with pride, dedication, and a strong work ethic. He also worked part-time at the Fullerton Livestock Market, further connecting him to the agricultural community he loved.

Max had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found joy in building his cattle herd and caring for the land. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with friends, often creating memories rooted in laughter and shared experiences. His loyal companion, the family dog Daisy, was rarely far from his side and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving parents, Chuck and Heidi Voichahoske; his sister, Macy Voichahoske; and his grandparents, Charlie and Alyce Wagner. He is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Eleanor Voichahoske, and his uncle, Al Ihnen.

Max will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and the joy he brought to those around him. His life, though far too short, leaves a lasting legacy of love, faith, and dedication.
